JOHANNESBURG – A UNITED-States based Zimbabwean strategist has introduced a premium bottled water brand he believes will redefine luxury in the market and secure Zimbabwe’s economic future.
Divine Mafa has introduced Divine Memphis H2O.
“I am selling my Memphis home to fund this venture, showing my commitment to Zimbabwe’s future,” Mafa told CAJ News Africa.
The founder seeks to raise $10 million from Zimbabwean investors, to launch Divine Memphis H2O, enabling it to start operations within 90 days.
Mafa believes Divine Memphis H2O is positioned to dominate the US luxury water market.
“Americans are willing to pay top dollar for premium water—unlike in Zimbabwe, where a bottle of Evian might cost $0,46 with minimal profit. The US market demands exclusivity,” Mafa said.
Divine Memphis H2O is to be priced at $75 per 750ml bottle, undercutting competitors while offering superior purity and a story of eternal power.
“With this pricing, we project billions in profit, far surpassing the margins possible in Zimbabwe, where infrastructure challenges limit scalability,” Mafa said.
The most expensive bottled water in the US is said to retail for $60 000 per 750ml bottle due to its 24-karat gold packaging and glacier-sourced water.
Divine Memphis H2O is sourced from the Memphis Aquifer, one of the world’s purest water reserves with a limited 100 trillion gallons.
Mafa described water as a geopolitical tool and said by running the Memphis Aquifer, they gain leverage and respect.
“This venture will not fail. Water is a non-failing commodity, and our premium pricing ensures massive profits.”
