Morocco first left-hand drive market for Magnite

by MOHAMED EL KADIRI
CASABLANCA –  MOROCCO is the first left-hand drive market in Africa, and one of the first in the world, to receive the all new Nissan Magnite.

“The Magnite launch in Morocco is more than just another innovation in this proud tradition,” said Nissan Africa head of Communications and Public Relations, Ramy Mohareb.

“This is a regional event that draws journalists from across the continent, including Tunisia, sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa, underscoring the importance of this strategic milestone for this model and for our company.”

The all-new Magnite will be available in Morocco in four different models, namely the 0T MID, 0T Upper, 0T Upper-CVT and 0T Prem (O) CVT.

They are available in auto and manual transmission.

Yassine Benmassi, Managing Director of SMVN, the official Nissan Sales Company in Morocco, welcomed the introduction of the Magnite.

“This is a dynamic market with a young urban population that is eager for smart mobility solutions,” Benmassi said.

First introduced to the world in 2020, the Magnite has found its niche with more than 150 000 vehicles being sold across the globe.
