NAIROBI – THE Kenyan government and organisers of the Connected Africa Summit 2025 report encouraging support from leading global technology industry leaders ahead of the event.
Among other companies whose participation has been confirmed for the summit set for May 26-29 in Diani are Amazon Web Services (AWS), CheckPoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Google and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
This is seen as cementing the event’s reputation as Africa’s most impactful platform for digital transformation dialogue and collaboration.
“The support we’re receiving from the industry is both a vote of confidence and a call to action,” said Stanley Kamanguya, Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Information and Communications Technology Authority.
“Partners like AWS, Google, Cisco, HPE, CheckPoint, and Fortinet are not only bringing cutting-edge technologies to the table but also committing to meaningful engagement with policymakers, innovators and end-users across the continent.”
The Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, in partnership with the ICT Authority and CIO Africa are organising the event.
Connected Africa will be held under the theme, “The Digital Journey: Vision to Reality”, which organizers believe reflects a shared ambition to move beyond planning and into implementation of scalable digital solutions.
More than 2 000 attendees from government, business, and development sectors are expected to attend.
