DURBAN – SEKHUKHUNE United and Kaizer Chiefs continued their winning momentum on Tuesday night, recording impressive victories to maintain their perfect starts in the Betway Premiership.
Log leaders Sekhukhune United thrashed hosts Orbit College 3–0 to stay on top of the 16-team league table with 12 points from four matches.
Vusumzi Mncube netted a brace in the 40th and 60th minutes, before Tshepo Mokoane sealed the win with a superb strike in the 64th minute.
Hot on their heels, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs also secured maximum points with a 1–0 win over Richards Bay.
Uruguayan international Gaston Sirino delivered the decisive moment with a thunderous strike in the 57th minute, ensuring Amakhosi remain tied with Sekhukhune on points.
Chiefs captain of the night Zitha Kwinika was rock-solid in defence, ably supported by Bradley Cross and Inácio Miguel, whose commanding performances helped preserve the narrow lead and keep their 2025/26 title hopes on track.
In other fixtures, Bloemfontein-based Siwelele suffered a 0–1 home defeat to visiting Polokwane City, while Durban City were held to a 1–1 draw by Golden Arrows.
Eastern Cape based Chippa United endured a humiliating 1–4 home loss to TS Galaxy.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates’ struggles continue as they remain joint-bottom of the log with Richards Bay.
The Buccaneers, however, will look to climb off the foot of the table when they host Stellenbosch at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
