NAIROBI – TECNO and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced a major partnership to market the local game globally.
Chinese technology firm, Tecno, joins as the Official Global Partner of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 and Africa Cup of Nations 2027 in East Africa.
CAF General Secretary, Véron Mosengo-Omba, made the announcement in Nairobi, Kenya, alongside Tecno Vice President, Shiming Jiang.
This follows a partnership at the Africa Cup of Nations Ivory Coast 2023 where Tecno joined as the exclusive smartphone sponsor for the event.
“We thank CAF and its President Dr Motsepe for the vision to grow football in Africa. Together, we will achieve great things,” Jiang said.
Patrice Motsepe is the president of CAF.
